“The Big D” also comes in a Weekend Event format. This is a great option if you are looking for a smaller commitment or want to test the waters for interest. It can also be a great opportunity to get teens involved when used as a kick off to starting a 12 week group.

It is all different material and is a great warm up for the teens and also gives them an opportunity to invite their friends to a more low key event, in hopes to get them interested in the follow up group.

“The Big D” Weekend Event is a fun filled weekend with lots of activities with time to explore their feelings and hurts in a safe environment. The teaching is presented through large group discussions with breaking into small groups for application. The curriculum makes it very easy to lead a group of 4 to 40.

The curriculum includes a full weekend Leaders Guide, a Student Workbook, an Activity Guide, a Time Line for a Successful Event, Suggested Agendas, and Promo Items. We make the 12 week curriculum available at a discount if you purchase both curriculums at the same time. It is a great way to give our next generation a chance to change their future.

Depending on how long you want to run your event, we suggest either a noon or 4:00 dismissal. There are sample agendas included for both formats. The curriculum is broken in 4 to 6 sessions covering – Stepping Stones to Healing, Feelings – Anger and Hurts, Change – Single Parent Homes and Blended Families, Forgiveness and Acceptance.
